A Necromancer is a spellcaster that harbors the ability to raise, animate, create, or summon undead. They are adept in the arts of magic that twist bodies, minds and souls.
A Necromancer is a caster that is able to expel negative energies flowing through their veins. Necromancers are similar to sorcerers, but are more adept with necromancy. They use their abilities to gain absolute control over their enemies' bodies, minds and souls and usually the best way to do that is by raising their bones as an undead.
A Necromancer's strengths are in bolstering undead and summoning or raising undead minions. They are strong spell casters but are not durable in physical combat.
Level 100:
Necromancers gain the ability to turn their essence into Motes of Death which they can use to animate a variety of bones and other dead objects into undead creatures that will fight for them. This may be attempted once every three (3) days unless the Necromancer has a dedicated ritual area, in which case they may attempt to create Motes of Death once every two (2) days. Creating Motes of Death is done in your ticket while in your dedicated ritual area, if you have one to benefit from, or from wherever the Necromancer finds convenient. In order to create the Motes of Death, the Necromancer must roll a Perform (Ritual) roll and pay 10 of their essence. The amount of Motes of Death generated is determined by the result of that roll on the table below:
Roll Result | Motes of Death created |
---|---|
40 | 1 |
45 | 2 |
50+ | 3 |
The Necromancer may use their Motes of Death(and other materials found in the world) in the creation of several enhanced undead creatures that are very powerful:
